Frontline Demonstration of Clean Milk Production Technology for Tribal Dairy Farmers on the occasion of “National Milk Day”

Frontline demonstration of clean milk production technology for tribal dairy farmers was organised on the occasion of “National Milk Day” at Animal Health Clinic on 26th November 2020 by Division of Animal Health, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region. A total number of 50 dairy farmers from 6 villages (Nongsder, Pyllun, Umsaw, Umshorshor, Mawpun and Lummynri) attended the demonstration programme and benefitted from the lectures of scientists of Division of Animal Health. In addition, 50 numbers of “milk hygiene kit” was distributed to the farmers. The program was graced by Dr. K.K. Baruah, Director (I), ICAR RC NEH, Dr. A. Sen, Head, Animal Health, Dr. R. Laha, Head Parasitiology and Dr. G. Kadirvel, Head, Agribusiness incubation centre. The entire programme was organized and coordinated by Dr. Sandeep Ghatak, Dr. Samir Das and Dr. A.A.P. Milton. All other staff of division of Animal Health & Livestock Production also participated enthusiastically. The programme was funded by ST Component (previously TSP).
